Pay Rate: $16.50/hr - $19.90/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $22.10/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music all while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

As a Music Teacher, you will impact:

Store Culture & Excellence:

Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based off the needs of the community
nTeach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
nAssist with Customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long term students by creating a great experience
nAdditional duties as assigned

Student & Parent Partnership:

Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing the knowledge parents have as their child''s Music Teacher
nCommunicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each student
nShare students and/or parents' goals and progress frequently
nRequirements:

n

n

Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
nAbility to teach the instrument that they are proficient in such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
nSkilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area they will be teaching
