Drum Instructor

Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Drum Instructor to provide high-quality private lesson instruction in a professional teaching environment. This position is ideal for a dedicated musician who enjoys working with students of all ages and skill levels while fostering both musical growth and a lifelong love of drumming. Key Responsibilities • Provide engaging one-on-one private drum lessons to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced players • Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals, skill level, and learning style • Teach a variety of musical styles (e.g., rock, jazz, pop, blues, funk, and more) • Create a fun, motivating, and structured learning environment that encourages progress and confidence • Track student development and provide constructive feedback • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students, parents, and staff Qualifications • Demonstrated experience performing and/or teaching drums • Proficiency in a wide range of musical styles • Ability to adapt teaching methods for children, teens, and adults • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Reliable, organized, and committed to maintaining a professional environment Preferred Qualifications • Previous private lesson teaching experience • Formal music education or equivalent professional experience • Experience preparing students for performances, auditions, or recitals
