Drum Instructor

Bach to Rock Va.Beach, America's music school for students of all ages, seeks a part-time Drum Instructor/Band Music Teacher to provide music and performance lessons. By teaching theory and technique through familiar music, we develop musicians who enjoy performing, recording, and composing original music. Requirements: • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of music concepts and effectively communicate them to students • Advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument required • Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities • Experienced performer (solo or group) • Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians • Excellent communication skills when interacting with children and adults • Ability to pass a background check About Us: We handle marketing, scheduling, booking, billing, and other business aspects, so you can focus on teaching.
