Job Description
Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music is looking for private music instructors who share the philosophy that learning to play comes from the heart. We strive to make lessons accessible and affordable, believing music education is essential to creating a better, happier world.

Position Details
The primary instrument focus is drums. We do not have a studio here but students need teachers ASAP; lessons can be in students’ homes, in your own space, or via webcam. Most students prefer in-person lessons, so local instructors who can travel within the Savannah area are needed.

Compensation and Responsibilities

Paid as an independent contractor: $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate.
Freedom to set your schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans.
Full support for advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to lighten your load.
Maintain communication with the office, stay organized, and be on time for all lessons.

Qualifications

Formal music training not required but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is mandatory.
Excellent with kids, love teaching, and maintain good communication skills.

COVID‑19 Precautions
While some students may accept webcam lessons, most prefer in-person lessons. Instructors must wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
