Responsibilities

Conduct music lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam; in-person lessons are preferred.
Travel to students in the Tallahassee area as needed.
Set your own schedule and create customized lesson plans.
Maintain punctuality, organization, and clear communication for all lessons.
Use company-supported advertising and billing assistance to acquire and manage students.
Follow COVID-19 precautions: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
Compensation is paid on an independent contractor basis, with hourly rates ranging from $20 to $30 depending on travel time, experience, education, and student retention.

Qualifications

Strong teaching skills and a passion for working with children.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must possess at least one of the following: a music degree, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
