Groove. Class leaders are be provided with training, lesson plan templates and themes, lead sheets/charts and rehearsal recordings. Ideal candidates must: • Be a strong singer able to accompany yourself on guitar • Have some previous experience working with young children • Love kids and be willing to get silly and be creative • Be able to learn new songs quickly and share ideas • Possess strong communication skills with grown-ups and kids • Want to be part of a well-loved neighborhood music community • Must have reliable transportation to/from Groove location. Groove Jams are offered Monday through Saturday mornings at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 AM. New class leaders shadow a seasoned teacher for one class/week for 4 weeks to learn the music and flow of the class.
