What You’ll Do • Lead 25–30 minute sessions using SME Music’s original songs, storyboards, instruments, and activities • Teach in a variety of childcare and early learning environments across DFW • Support learning across multiple developmental domains: language, motor, social-emotional, adaptive, and more • Encourage creativity, curiosity, and self-expression through music and movement • Connect meaningfully with young children of all abilities — including those with learning differences or disabilities Why This Role is Different • No prep work required — we provide all curriculum, training, and materials • Creative & active — not just “circle time” singing, but full-body, story-driven engagement • Flexible, consistent hours — great for performers, educators, parents, and artists • Impactful — your work supports real developmental progress in young learners What We’re Looking For • Experience teaching or working with young children (especially infants–Pre-K) • A love of music, creativity, and joyful interaction • Comfort with movement, storytelling, and group leadership • Reliable transportation to travel to different childcare centers around the Metroplex • Bonus: background in early childhood, music therapy, education, or performing arts1 • No music degree required — we’ll train you!
