Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Music Teacher to inspire young learners through the joy of music, movement, and creative expression. Duties

Implement age-appropriate music curricula that incorporate singing, dancing, rhythm exercises, and musical games aligned with early childhood education standards. Curricula will be provided for you, but you are welcome to make suggestions + improvements and discuss with your supervisor.
Lead 60 min. interactive music sessions that encourage participation, creativity, and social interaction among preschool children
Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment
Utilize various teaching tools including musical instruments, visual aids, sensory tools, and multimedia resources to enrich lessons
Collaborate with school staff and management to share student progress updates and suggest ways to reinforce musical learning at home

Skills

Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool settings
Confident in teaching musical concepts through engaging activities involving singing, dancing, and movement
Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere
Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for early learners
Passion for shaping and developing preschool aged children as they begin to flourish in a structured learning environment
