The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following: Description of Work: Music director shall provide musical accompaniment to the Chapel Services at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (VA HCS), Chapel, 1 Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN Current offerings include Sunday Catholic Mass and a Protestant Service and may include other occasions in support of the music ministry of the Chapel. • Times for support on other occasions will be determined as needed. • Chaplains to provide hymns for Worship Services at least 3 days prior to Sunday Worship through the use of email. Qualification Requirements: Musicians shall be proficient in the following areas: • Proficiency in at least one accompanying instrument, i.e. piano or organ.
