JOB SUMMARY The Education Outreach Manager is responsible for the maintenance and administration of a suite of Music for Ours Schools programs and serves as the Registrar for all of the Education Department’s activities REPORTS TO: Director of Education HOURS: 30 hours during Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm BEGINS: immediate availability QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree • Strong experience with windows-based software, including Word, and Excel • Knowledge of databases and data entry experience a plus • Minimum two years work experience working in administration • Must possess strong organizational skills • Ability to work independently and manage highly detailed tasks • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to reprioritize when needed • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and with a wide range of people including school administrators and teachers, young musicians, volunteers, parents and co-workers • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment and professional presence • Knowledge of classical music a plus • Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus • Ability to lift 40 pounds. • Assist in the preparation of content for marketing and development materials, as needed. • Communicate with school administration to bring all services related to the program to the school, including listening program, recorder program, professional development opportunities, and Youth Discovery Cards. • Coordinate the dissemination of IGNITE!
