EMAIL MARKETING MANAGER

SWIMS is a Scandinavian-inspired water-friendly footwear and apparel brand. The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of email campaigns for the brands’ ecommerce and bricks-and-mortar stores. The candidate who will excel has a high level of enthusiasm and excitement for the email marketing channel. Responsibilities Program Operations Develop email communication strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability across ecommerce and bricks and mortar stores sales channels Function as the end-to-end owner for all aspects of the email program, from creative ideation to post-analysis Comprehensively manage email marketing across all subscriber and customer touchpoints for both triggered and mass emails Maintain ongoing daily operations, including directly setting up and scheduling email deployments within the Listrak platform Responsible for all QA activities and successful deployments Identify optimal segments and produce highly relevant email communications that are tailored for each specific audience Develop automated email flows to deliver experiences tailored to customer acquisition and retention performance goals Partner with internal and external partners to cohesively integrate email touchpoints with other marketing channels and site experiences Develop testing roadmap to systematically identify elements that drive optimal performance, including email layouts, subject lines, content, and landing pages Project Management Manage marketing calendars in partnership with Merchandising team, balancing channel, merchandising, and promotional business requirements Accountable for email project management across all phases of production, including calendar, concepts, brief creation, coordination with Merchandiser, Copywriter and Designers, email production, and deployment Effectively manage ongoing program expansion while concurrently developing large-scale projects and new initiatives Performance Management & Optimization Partner with Analyst to benchmark campaign performance, monitoring performance on an ongoing basis Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies across email program Optimize campaigns to drive iterative improvements in performance, proactively identifying and remediating performance issues List Growth & Maintenance Own list growth processes for online channels and conceptualize and support in-store subscriber growth initiatives Partner with Analyst to analyze value of email subscriber sign-up sources and optimize subscriber touchpoints across programs Monitor list health and manage list hygiene utilizing data points from ESP and third-party tools Other Identify technical integration issues that arise and conduct initial troubleshooting to determine and take appropriate remediation and escalation steps Launch new communication-based programs, including SMS Skills and Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science degree or MBA 5 years of experience producing marketing emails Prior responsibility for email strategy for an ecommerce, preferably multi-channel, retailer Expert in all aspects of Listrak ESP Proficient in HTML/CSS, Excel, and Google Analytics Knowledge of email best practices, metrics, and KPIs Significant experience executing personalized campaigns utilizing segmentation Past achievement growing revenue by building complex automated email series Project management experience Excellent quantitative skills with a focus on channel financial performance Strong verbal and excellent written communication skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment Familiarity with compliance requirements for privacy and digital communication regulations and legislation domestically (CAN-SPAM, CCPA) and internationally (CASL) Plus: Familiarity with solutions for personalization (Nosto, Dynamic Yield) and email deliverability (Return Path/Validity) Strong Plus: Working experience with SMS marketing solution (Attentive, Drips, or comparable) Strong Plus: Fashion industry experience Comfortable working in a small team with evolving priorities
