Music Ensemble Accompanist Position We are seeking a skilled pianist to provide musical accompaniment for students in ensemble classes at an esteemed music institution. The accompanist will be an integral part of regularly scheduled ensemble department classes and participate in performances, rehearsals, and additional events. Key Responsibilities: • Provide live accompaniment for students in ensemble classes • Collaborate with faculty and students during rehearsals and performances • Support visiting artists' concerts, clinics, and workshops • Assist students and faculty during class time Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in music or a related field • Excellent sight-reading and musicianship skills • Strong background in contemporary styles • Complete technical command of the piano • Sensitivity to vocalists' needs
