Our CEO is fast paced, always thinks outside the box, and is constantly working on new ways to attract new individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grants and foundations. The Executive Assistant coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CEO, including management of donor relationships, creation of presentations for funding pitches, minute note taking, among others. We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and motivated individual who is passionate about the work and the opportunity to have a huge impact on Young Musicians Unite’s growth. • Research of new grant opportunities • Annual Gala under the direction of our CEO: • Manage event platform - Onecause • Manage guest list, ticket sales, table assignments, and food options • Manage the coordination of our vendors - Catering, Furniture, Venue + • Show Logistics Spreadsheet Management • Gala Committee (benefit fundraising team) • Weekly Updates for Gala Committee Chair • Spreadsheet Updates and Goals • Scheduling of meetings • Silent Auction • Update Silent Auction Forms • Collect Silent Auction Items • Generate Certificate of Donation / Tax receipt • Setup Silent Auction Platform and post items • Help with the creation of a promotional plan and Day of Highlights with Marketing Director • Manage Silent Auction closing and distribution of items and certificates • Corporate Sponsorships • Manage the coordination between YMU and our sponsors • Manage the collection of the sponsorship funds - assuring we received the money promised and following up if needed. • Demonstrate excellent time management skills, meet time sensitive deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously • Communicate effectively and respectfully with members of the team • Passionate about music education • Ability to think outside the box and resolve problems creatively • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments • Ability to work under direct supervision and independently • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
