The Las Vegas Youth Orchestras (LVYO) is Southern Nevada’s premier youth music education and performance organization, serving the talented student musicians from across Southern Nevada. The Executive Director is the chief administrative officer of the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras, responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and sustainability of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director partners with the Music Director to execute the organization’s mission and vision, oversees finances and fundraising, manages staff and volunteers, and ensures a smooth and successful season for students and families. Strategic and Operational Leadership • Work with the Board of Directors to implement LVYO’s strategic goals and priorities • Coordinate with the Music Director to plan and execute each concert season • Oversee day-to-day operations, including rehearsal scheduling, concert production, and communication with students and families • Attend weekly rehearsals to support operations, ensure smooth logistics, and maintain a visible leadership presence Finance and Tuition Management • Develop and manage the annual budget in coordination with the Board Treasurer • Collect tuition payments from families and enforce the organization’s No-Pay, No-Play policy with sensitivity and consistency • Evaluate student applications for financial aid and maintain accurate records of awards and remaining budget • Process scholarships and tuition waivers while ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency
