Artistic Planning and Programming: The Vice President of Artistic Planning is responsible for developing and executing the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra's artistic vision, working closely with the Music Director and other senior leadership to create a compelling and diverse array of guest artists, conductors, and repertoire. • Cultivate deep relationships with agents, artists, publishers, and artistic partners. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with artists, agents, and other external partners. • 5+ years of experience in artistic planning and programming, preferably in an orchestra setting. • Proven negotiation and contract administration skills.
