LOCATION: Gilmer County Elementary School
SALARY: County Supplement of $2400
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated music teacher to serve in an extracurricular role throughout
the school year to foster students' musical interests/talents.
**Key Responsibilities:**The teacher will be responsible for the facilitation of:
* 2nd through 5th grade choir program
* 3rd through 5th grade beginning band
* Intermediate band for grades 4th through 5th grade
* Lead the opportunity for students to rehearse for and participate in the All-State Children's Chorus
* Percussion ensemble group grades 2nd through 5th
\*In order to maintain an extracurricular position, sufficient enrollment in the program must be maintained throughtout the year
and during the academic and extracurricular activities. If there is not enough student participation, the position may be eliminated.
