Film & Music Marketing Specialist

Visit Austin is charged with marketing Austin nationally and internationally as a premier business and leisure destination, thus enriching our community's overall quality of life. This full-time, exempt, salaried position assists both the Austin Music Office and Austin Film Commission in management of booking musicians and organizing experiential marketing as well as acting as a community liaison and scout for film, television and commercial productions. There are a number of crossover duties including management of both office’s social media identities as well as database management, marketing tasks and general duties to assist the public with inquiries. • Coordinate and support onsite experiential, tradeshow and conference event participation including assisting in vendor management, contracts, exhibit development, and event execution.
