First Born Entertainment Internship

First Born Entertainment is an independent record label and entertainment company dedicated to discovering, developing, and empowering the next generation of artists. We specialize in artist development, music distribution, digital marketing, branding, and creative strategy.

We're looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who want real, hands-on experience, not just busy work. Interns will work directly with label leadership and gain exposure to every aspect of operating an independent record label.

What You'll Do

As a Music Industry Intern, you'll assist across several departments including:

Marketing & Social Media

Create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, X, and YouTubeBrainstorm viral marketing ideas and campaign conceptsMonitor social media analytics and prepare performance reportsAssist with release rollouts and promotional campaignsArtist Development

Help organize release calendarsResearch playlist opportunities, blogs, influencers, and media outletsSupport branding, storytelling, and audience growth strategiesAssist with fan engagement initiativesLabel Operations

Organize digital assets and project filesMaintain spreadsheets and internal databasesAssist with distribution preparation and metadata organizationSupport day-to-day administrative tasksCreative Projects

Assist with graphic design, short-form video editing, and promotional materials (experience preferred but not required)Participate in brainstorming sessions for artist campaignsAttend virtual meetings and contribute creative ideasQualifications

Passion for music and the music industryStrong organizational and communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, and YouTubeBasic knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft OfficeExperience with Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plusMusic Business, Marketing, Communications, or Media majors are encouraged to apply (not required)What You'll Gain
