Foundation Executive Director

Announced April 9, 2025Application link: https://forms.gle/BNkpsh4tbfnQXqHQ7 Groupmuse Foundation is seeking a part-time visionary Executive Director to lead and grow our nonprofit organization, which marks its fifth anniversary in 2025. Since 2020, Groupmuse Foundation has been expanding classical music to be more inclusive and vibrant by empowering musicians through financial, technological, and career support. The right candidate should target a doubling (or more) and greater diversification of annual fundraising in the next 2-3 years.Key programs include support of Groupmuse Cooperative, the Planetary Music Movement (our concert series uplifting musicians of African descent), and our Fiscal Sponsorship program.The Executive Director will also join Groupmuse Cooperative, with eligibility to become a Worker-Owner in the co-op after six months, and therefore reports to both the Cooperative’s Steering Committee and also Groupmuse Foundation’s board of directors. They will work closely with our dedicated part-time Development Director to nurture relationships with outside partners, including funders and music nonprofits.
