As a Freelance Local Producer, you will engage with a global network of passionate community builders and tastemakers. This entrepreneurial role allows self-starters to take charge of how Sofar is represented in their local community. Enhance Sofar's brand presence within your community through innovative, self-directed marketing strategies.Develop a comprehensive vision and strategy for your city, including the number of monthly shows and potential venues.Curate and book high-quality, diverse artists and venues for unforgettable experiences.Ensure high-quality staffing and management at local events to create exceptional guest experiences.Oversee the financial aspects of your city, ensuring the profitability and viability of each event.Forge partnerships with local businesses to promote sponsorships and private event opportunities.Identify and collaborate with local organizations that share similar audiences to broaden reach and co-promote events.Partner with other local leaders to develop diverse experiences that generate excitement and increase brand awareness.Support Sofar's Business Partnerships and Global Communities teams by ensuring seamless event execution for inbound partnership opportunities.Who You Are: You have established connections within your local scene and actively contribute to community building.You possess 3-5 years of experience in live event production, curation, and promotions.You have a proven track record of securing sponsorships or marketing activations, particularly in live events or experiential marketing.You can effectively pitch ideas and concepts to potential sponsors and close partnership deals.You are well-versed in the unique characteristics of your city and know the best hangout spots in various neighborhoods.You excel at building relationships with community-focused organizations, media partners, and local businesses.You understand how to form strategic alliances that drive ticket sales for our events.You approach your work with pride, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent experiences for everyone involved.You are an effective communicator with strong time management skills.You are self-sufficient yet appreciate the value of staying connected to the broader organization.Compensation for our Producers is commission-based, earning between $100 to $500+ per event, depending on ticket prices and overall event performance.
