Freelance Guitarist

The ideal candidate is a guitarist who knows the record guitar parts (including solos) to standard Top 40 songs, is able to play with a click-track, and can play in multiple styles.The guitarist must bring their own guitar and plug-ins to go direct (DI) into our audio system. No amplifiers allowed on stage.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform the record guitar parts to songs on the JKMC Song ListAbility to perform 3-4 hour sets (sometimes with minimal breaks)Perform in occasional cocktail hours (instrumental jazz or pop duos, trios, quartets) when needed. Extra pay is often included for these.Have a positive attitude with other musicians and bandleadersQualificationsProven experience as a party band (or similar style) guitaristAbility to perform multiple styles, including Top 40, rock, Latin, jazz, big band, etc.Ability to play with a click track and backing tracksMust own their own guitar and appropriate gear (cables, pedals, etc. The video must be of the applicant performing in a Top 40, or similar, setting.
