The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and will be responsible for providing inspirational music in support of the Commander’s Religious Program (CRP). The Director of Musical Arts (DMA) will work as part of a religious ministry team led by the command chaplain and will provide musical direction, administration, and collaboration for Catholic and Protestant worship services at NAS Jacksonville Chapel. Be a musician with the requisite skills of a pianist and experience acceptable to lead a variety of religious worship services. Have a working understanding of Navy organization and pluralistic ministry requirements affecting chapel facilities and staff. This is a part-time position with compensation based on budget and the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
