The role of a Freelance Local Producer at Sofar Sounds is a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity designed for individuals who are passionate about curating live events and fostering community engagement in their city. You will be supported with access to Sofar’s global communities team, resources, and training, along with opportunities to network with other creators worldwide. • must be based in the designated city • 3-5 years of experience in live event curation, production, and promotions • experience selling event sponsorships or marketing activations • confident pitching ideas and closing partnership deals • strong knowledge of local neighborhoods and cultural scene • excellent relationship-building skills • self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset • ability to manage multiple projects independently • flexible availability including evenings and weekends • proficiency in event planning and marketing • excellent communication skills
