Southern Strings is expanding its roster and seeking exceptional violinists to perform at luxury weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Since 2021, the organization has become one of the largest professional string music networks across the South, performing hundreds of events annually in multiple states.What You’ll Do:Perform as part of duos, trios, and string quartets.Play for ceremonies, cocktail hours, corporate events, and private parties.Receive professionally prepared sheet music and event details before each performance.Have the flexibility to accept only the gigs that fit your schedule—there is no minimum commitment.RequirementsProfessional-level violinists with excellent musicianship.Strong sight-reading skills.Reliable transportation and professionalism.Wedding and/or orchestral performance experience preferred.A degree in music performance or equivalent professional experience is a plus.Additional InformationCompetitive per-event pay: $250.00 - $350.00 per hour.Flexible freelance schedule.Perform at beautiful, high-end events at some of the South’s premier venues.Be part of a supportive team with an organized booking process.Opportunities to perform regularly throughout North Alabama and surrounding areas.If you’re passionate about performing and would love to be part of a respected, growing company, please send your résumé, performance experience, and any performance videos (if available) to us or send a direct message.
