This is a part-time position requiring 5-10 hours of work per week under the supervision of the Director of Liturgy and Music. • *Job Responsibilities: • Provide liturgical music support for Sunday masses and special university events. • Select music that aligns with the liturgical season and worshiping community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Roman Catholic liturgy and rites, familiarity with the 1963 Second Vatican Council document Sacrosanctum Concilium (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy), comprehension of basic music theory, proficiency in piano/keyboard, guitar, or another suitable instrument, versatile vocal ability to lead congregational song and self-accompany in various musical styles, proficiency in reading musical notation, competency in leading and directing an adult choir, and basic knowledge of iPad, iOS application, forScore for digital sheet music. • Reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation preferred.
