GigHubb Internship - Position OPEN

American Music Institute Chicago, Illinois

GigHubb Chicago is a premier musician network, connecting world-class live musicians with elite venues, private events, and corporate partners across the Chicago area. We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Intern to help us scale our bookings and strengthen our footprint in the B2B and B2C music markets.

Position Overview

This isn't your typical "coffee run" internship. You will be on the front lines of the music industry, acting as a bridge between talented artists and the clients who hire them. This role is perfect for a self-starter who wants to master the art of the deal, understand the logistics of live performance, and build a professional network in the Chicago music scene.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadership
Promoting and sales
Assist with day-to-day operations and general administrative tasks
Full-Cycle Lead Management: Drive the sales pipeline by building a robust prospect database and executing aggressive outreach via calls, texts, and face-to-face meetings to secure high-value partnerships.
Field Sales & Prospecting: Travel throughout the Chicago area to identify and pitch potential partners, including hotel GMs, restaurant owners, corporate event planners, etc
Partnership Development: Identify and outreach to B2B partners (wedding planners, hotels, corporate event spaces) and B2C clients to pitch GigHubb talent
Booking Management: Manage the end-to-end sales funnel, from initial inquiry and contract negotiation to final booking
Database Growth: Maintain and update our CRM with new leads and artist information

Preferred Qualifications:

Self-Managed: Since this is mostly a traveling position, you must be disciplined and capable of managing your own daily schedule and route without constant supervision
Industry Savvy: You have a passion for the music business and understand how live entertainment adds value to a commercial space
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, take initiative, and manage time effectively
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Access to a reliable vehicle
