GigHubb Internship - Position OPENGigHubb Chicago is a premier musician network, connecting world-class live musicians with elite venues, private events, and corporate partners across the Chicago area. We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Intern to help us scale our bookings and strengthen our footprint in the B2B and B2C music markets.Position OverviewThis isn't your typical "coffee run" internship. You will be on the front lines of the music industry, acting as a bridge between talented artists and the clients who hire them. This role is perfect for a self-starter who wants to master the art of the deal, understand the logistics of live performance, and build a professional network in the Chicago music scene.Responsibilities include:Collaborate effectively with colleagues and leadershipPromoting and salesAssist with day-to-day operations and general administrative tasksFull-Cycle Lead Management: Drive the sales pipeline by building a robust prospect database and executing aggressive outreach via calls, texts, and face-to-face meetings to secure high-value partnerships.Field Sales & Prospecting: Travel throughout the Chicago area to identify and pitch potential partners, including hotel GMs, restaurant owners, corporate event planners, etcPartnership Development: Identify and outreach to B2B partners (wedding planners, hotels, corporate event spaces) and B2C clients to pitch GigHubb talentBooking Management: Manage the end-to-end sales funnel, from initial inquiry and contract negotiation to final bookingDatabase Growth: Maintain and update our CRM with new leads and artist informationPreferred Qualifications:Self-Managed: Since this is mostly a traveling position, you must be disciplined and capable of managing your own daily schedule and route without constant supervisionIndustry Savvy: You have a passion for the music business and understand how live entertainment adds value to a commercial spaceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask, take initiative, and manage time effectivelyComfortable working both independently and collaborativelyAccess to a reliable vehicle Details:Hours: Approx. up to 20 hours/week (5 days/week)Compensation: This is a commission-based internship.
