Gospel Musician

Gospel Musician The ideal candidate will: • provide services for Gospel Service Congregation as the pianist/organist. The contractor will lead the congregation in worship while playing a piano/keyboard (electric type keyboard) as the primary musical instrument. The contractor shall play the chapel organ or piano at the stylistic direction of the Lead Chaplain and/or as dictated by the music selection. Qualifications: • at least five years of experience playing religious music in houses of worship or military chapels Experience in Contemporary, Gospel, Pentecostal, traditional, hymnic, choral, contemporary Christian, and liturgical musical trends • Must know how to Play “by ear” and read sheet music
