Group Music Instructor (Kindergarten – Grade 6) Location: South Sacramento, CA (Elder Creek Area) Pay: $32.00 – $45.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time / Contract We are seeking an energetic and creative Group Music Instructor to teach Kindergarten through 6th grade students in a public school setting. Work in a structured, professional, and vetted school campus environment. Teach fun group music classes for Kindergarten through Grade 6 students Lead singing activities, rhythm games, movement exercises, and interactive music lessons Introduce students to basic music concepts such as beat, rhythm, melody, and listening skills Expose students to different instruments and basic musical knowledge Create engaging classroom games that keep students excited about learning music Maintain a fun, positive, and safe classroom environment Help prepare students for small performances or school showcases when needed Experience in music, singing, vocal coaching, music education, or performance Experience working with children is preferred Ability to lead group classes with energy and confidence Reliable transportation to the South Sacramento / Elder Creek area Ability to pass a standard DOJ/FBI background check (required for school sites) Patient, creative, and passionate about working with young children
