Duties

Design engaging and effective piano lessons tailored to individual student needs, skill levels, and learning styles
Deliver clear instruction on piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills
Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and discipline
Track student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and adjust lesson plans accordingly
Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as curriculum development, classroom management, and tutoring strategies
Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and boost motivation
Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student progress and address any special educational needs

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching piano or similar musical instruments with a strong background in classroom experience or early childhood education
Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management techniques
Ability to work effectively with children, teenagers, and adult learners in various educational settings
Familiarity with working with students who have special educational needs or require additional support
Skills in integrating other artistic disciplines such as theater, ballet, or dancing into music lessons are a plus
Experience with classroom management and childhood development principles to create an engaging learning environment
Additional skills in photography, sewing, culinary arts, or childcare are considered advantageous but not required
