Responsibilities: Provide a fun and engaging experience for students.Become trained, and certified in delivering our lessons programKeep internal lessons progress notesPrepare students for community performances and school performancesMay prepare students for competitions as BSMA rep, or for special auditions.Will teach small groups and bands weekly (recurring group class pay rate is higher than range)Qualifications: Prefer Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related fieldSolid Guitar performance experience and teaching ability - across multiple genresReliableAbility to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience in 1-on-1 and group settingsMust pass background test, showing suitability to teach childrenCan work independently, and be directed at times.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizedIdeally 2+ years' experience teaching music to ages 5 to Adult.
