If you’re looking to teach without the burden of running your own business—or you’re tired of unpaid travel time, zig-zagging across town, or working with students who don’t really want to be there—this might be the perfect place for you. Even at 12 hours/week, our teachers earn consistent income doing work that’s creative, meaningful, and far more fulfilling than the average service job. What You’ll Be Doing • Teaching private and group guitar lessons to adult hobbyists • Supporting the growth of the guitar department and curriculum • Helping with new client scheduling and communication • Assisting with MP’s special events and team-building experiences • Participating in weekly staff meetings and training • Assisting in curriculum development or community initiatives (optional) Starting Compensation • $37.5–$40/hr for private & semi-private lessons • $47.5–$50/hr for group classes & team-building events • $17.50–$20/hr for training and administrative tasks • For teachers working 20 hours per week, this pay structure can result in monthly earnings of $3,300 or more. Please email [email protected] with: • Your resume • A short video (5 minutes or less) telling us who you are, why you want to teach at MP, and what makes you a great fit • Two recent performance videos (within the last 3 years) that show your guitar skills
