Duties • Design and implement comprehensive guitar curricula suited for diverse age groups, including children, teens, and adults • Conduct engaging lessons that incorporate technical skills, music theory, sight-reading, and expressive playing • Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's skill level, goals, and learning style • Manage classroom environments to ensure positive behavior and focused learning experiences • Provide constructive feedback to motivate students and track their progress over time • Organize recitals or performance opportunities to showcase student achievements • Collaborate with parents, guardians, or adult learners to discuss progress and set future objectives Qualifications • Proven experience in teaching guitar across various age groups and skill levels • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques • Experience working with children, early childhood education background preferred • Ability to adapt teaching styles for special education needs or adult learners • Familiarity with classroom experience including behavior management strategies • Familiarity with special education needs or childhood development is desirable.
