Our mission is to inspire, teach, and mentor the amateur musician looking to enjoy a life filled with music and we need an instructor who reflects that. Teachers are provided with studio curriculum and resources to teach engaging lessons that encourage students to learn and improve. Skills • Strong knowledge of guitar techniques, music theory, and instructional methods • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for various age groups • Excellent teaching and classroom management skills to engage students effectively • Ability to work with children, teenagers, and adult learners with patience and enthusiasm • Familiarity with behavior management strategies and childhood development principles • Experience in tutoring or providing specialized instruction in areas like early childhood education or special education • Proven ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles in classroom settings • Must have at least 1 year of recent teaching experience • Be currently living in Austin or the surrounding area • Plan on living in Austin for at least 2 years • Be available to teach at least 3 afternoons M-F 3pm – 8pm and/or a shift on Saturday 10-3 pm • Have a strong desire to be a successful teacher • Strong organizational skills • Problem solver • Pass federal/state background check • Submit student progress report, which may include pictures and/or short videos of students to track progress Benefits: • We do the leg work to get students for you, all you have to do is teach!
