Job Description
Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music is looking for private music instructors who share our philosophy of “Learn to Play From the Heart”. We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable to as many people as possible.

We specifically need instructors for Guitar in the El Paso area. Lessons may be conducted in students’ homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. We provide advertising, marketing, and billing support so you can focus on teaching.

Responsibilities

Teach private guitar lessons (in‑person or via webcam) to students of all ages.
Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet student goals.
Maintain good communication with the Taylor Robinson Music office.
Be punctual, organized, and reliable for all scheduled lessons.
Adhere to COVID‑19 safety protocols (mask, hand sanitization, social distancing).

Qualifications

Formal music training is not required, but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience is required.
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with children.
Willingness to travel to students within the El Paso, TX area (if not teaching in your own studio).

Independent Contractor Details

Independent contractor basis with pay between $20‑$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, education, and student retention rate.
Freedom to set your own schedule and lesson curriculum.
