Guitar Instructor: Classical Training Preferred

Sage Music is seeking a guitar instructor for our San Antonio location at 209 W. Poplar St. We are especially interested in teachers with a strong foundation in classical guitar technique who can read standard notation well.

Candidates who can teach multiple instruments and musical styles may have stronger opportunities to build a full teaching roster.

This role may begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time teaching position as your student roster develops. We are looking for candidates who are interested in building toward full-time availability at Sage Music.

Ideal candidates:

Teach guitar, with classical guitar training preferred
Read standard notation well
Have strong technique and musicianship
Can teach fingerpicking styles
Can teach additional instruments, if applicable
Are comfortable teaching multiple musical styles
Want to grow into a larger teaching role over time
Are professional, reliable, and committed to excellent student outcomes
Are interested in ongoing teacher training and professional development
