New Shiloh Christian Center is seeking a talented and dedicated Guitar Player to join our Worship & Music Ministry team. The ideal candidate will have strong musical ability, a heart for worship, and the ability to support praise and worship services with excellence and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Provide guitar accompaniment during Sunday worship services, rehearsals, conferences, revivals, and special eventsSupport worship leaders, choir members, and musicians with rhythm, lead, and ambient guitar playing as neededPlay a variety of musical styles including gospel, contemporary worship, praise & worship, and traditional church musicAttend scheduled rehearsals and ministry meetingsWork collaboratively with the band and music ministry leadershipFollow musical direction while contributing creativity and musical sensitivity during worship flowMaintain professionalism, punctuality, and preparedness for all services and events

Qualifications

Proficiency on electric and/or acoustic guitarExperience playing in church, gospel, worship, or live band settings preferredStrong understanding of chord progressions, timing, dynamics, and musical transitionsAbility to learn songs quickly and adapt during live worship momentsDependable, teachable, and team-orientedPositive attitude and respect for church leadership and ministry standards

Preferred Skills

Ability to play rhythm, lead, and ambient worship stylesFamiliarity with gospel progressions, contemporary worship music, and spontaneous worship flowExperience using pedals, amp modeling, or direct-input systems is a plusAbility to play by ear and/or read chord charts preferred
