Guitar Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated Guitar Teacher to work in our summer school, the B-Sharp Summer Music Enrichment Academy. Role Description The Guitar Teacher will provide individual and group guitar instruction, focusing on music reading, skill development, guitar technique, and performance preparation. Qualifications • Proficiency in Guitar Instruction and comprehensive guitar techniques • Be able to play a variety of music styles, including jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, gospel, and classical styles. • Solid knowledge of Music Theory, music reading and the ability to incorporate it into lessons • Experience working with students of diverse skill levels is a plus, but not a requirement • Additional skills in Piano instruction are a plus, but not a requirement • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or extensive professional guitar performance • Previous guitar teaching experience is a plus, but not a requirement
