Guitar Teacher

In this role, you will design engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and help students develop their musical talents through personalized instruction. Duties Use a comprehensive guitar curricula tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, incorporating technical skills, music theory, and performance techniquesDeliver engaging, energetic lessons that motivate students and build confidence in their playing abilitiesAssess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needsPrepare students for performances, auditions, or recitals by guiding practice routines and providing constructive feedbackIncorporate creative activities such as songwriting, improvisation, or recording projects to enhance musical understandingCollaborate with Artistic Director to communicate progress and address any challenges for students.Skills Strong expertise in guitar techniques across various styles and genresProven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to different age groupsExcellent teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all levelsClassroom management skills that foster a respectful and productive environmentExperience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational settingsKnowledge of music theory, ear training, and performance preparationStrong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleaguesFlexibility in lesson delivery methods including in-person or virtual instructionPay: $40.00 per hour Benefits:
