Head of Music Department

As a head of music department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the School of Music at East Carolina University. Responsibilities and Expectations The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and vision for the School of Music, as well as ensuring that departmental operations run smoothly and efficiently. They will also be expected to develop and implement strategies to promote arts education and cultural events across the region, and to collaborate with other departments and units to achieve shared goals. Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a terminal degree in Music and be a full-time faculty member within East Carolina University. A doctorate in Music is preferred.
