We're always looking for guest musicians and singers to make music with our seniors either online or by participating in one of our in person bands or drum circles. Music Mends Minds offers free tri-weekly musical Zoom sessions, which are led by a board-certified music therapist and feature a mix of sing-alongs, solos and guest performers. We meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:30am-12:30pm PT. Music Mends Minds is a nonprofit that creates musical support groups, bands and sing-a-longs for patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, as well as traumatic brain injury, stroke. Research shows that music memory remains intact in these patients, in spite of the disease process, offering a beneficial and therapeutic experience for our members, families, caregivers and the community.
