Musical Pit Director Position • Job Summary: • This role involves overseeing the pit musicians during high school musical performances. The successful candidate will have a passion for music education and be able to inspire students to reach their full potential. • Conducting rehearsals and performances: Lead the pit band during rehearsals and performances, ensuring that they deliver a high-quality show. In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to: • Attend all rehearsals and performances • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents • Communicate effectively with the cast and crew to ensure a smooth production Physical Requirements: • Sit, stand, speak, hear, see, and walk to carry out routine duties • Occasionally lift, move, or push items of 50 lbs.
