We are hiring a Music Therapist for a Hospice position providing care to patients in their homes in the **Clarkston**area.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
* Provide compassionate music therapy services in accordance with hospice care plans to promote comfort, emotional support, relaxation, and overall quality of life for patients and families
* Educate and support patients and caregivers through therapeutic music interventions, responding to emotional and comfort needs with professionalism, empathy, and flexibility throughout the end-of-life journey
* Work independently but never alone
* Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

**Music Therapist Qualifications**
* Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
* Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential according to U. S. Certification Board for Music Therapists
* State music therapy licensing where required
* At least six (6) months of work/education experience with geriatric health care
* At least six (6) months of work /education experience with end-of-life/terminal illness health care
* Due to the field-based nature of this home health position, a valid driver’s license and the ability to spend approximately 20% of your workday driving to and from patient locations are required
