Clean ice chests, fill them with ice, and set them up for delivery. Retrieve empty ice chests and leftover hospitality after each band clears their dressing rooms, returning them to the Horseman’s Cafeteria. Crew must typically arrive at 7:30 am and work until all bands have vacated their dressing rooms, and all hospitality and ice chests have been returned to the Horseman’s Cafeteria. Spread out over two long weekends in late April and early May, Jazz Fest takes place at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Track, located just minutes from the French Quarter. Apply to be part of the Jazz Fest Team that annually welcomes almost 500,000 people to the Festival.
