St. John Music is currently seeking passionate and energetic music instructors to join our growing studio team to teach guitar, voice, and strings (specifically violin and cello). Immediate teaching opportunities are available.

We provide high-quality music lessons for students of all ages, experience levels, and musical backgrounds. We’re looking for instructors who not only demonstrate strong musicianship but also bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine love of teaching.

Responsibilities

Teach private music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment
Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all lessons and communication
Collaborate with studio staff and follow studio policies and procedures
Support student growth through patience, consistency, and strong communication

Qualifications

Degree in music (completed or in progress) preferred, OR equivalent teaching/performance experience
Strong proficiency in your instrument(s)
Previous teaching experience is a plus, but training is available for qualified musicians new to teaching
Evening availability required; weekend availability preferred
Reliable transportation required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude
Comfortable working with young children and students of all ages
Experience with Google Workspace/Google tools preferred
