Job summary: Provide improvised musical accompaniment for children's creative/ballet/modern dance classes at the Tanner Dance studio on the University of Utah campus and/or offsite at partner elementary schools throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Ability to quickly respond to verbal and visual cues and and incorporate directions into improvisational musical performances. Experience: Experience in composing music is a plus. Previous experience working in settings where musical improvisation and/or sight-reading was required is a plus. Maintain and continue to build musical improvisation skills and appropriate repertoire.
