The Young Musicians Club Activities should place a strong focus on hands-on learning in order to give participants the opportunity to explore, create and perform their own music. All candidates should possess appropriate qualifications and skills for the specialty and at least 2 years’ A group leader oversees the planning and facilitation of activities in program as well as the safety and well-being of the participants in their group with active and involved supervision. The GRYC after-school programs run at a 1-10 ratio which involves a certain amount of vigilance in supervision of the participants in program as well as skills in classroom management. All candidates should be able to adapt to the rapid changes that commonly occur in busy after-school programs such as changes in program space and schedule if necessary.
