The instructor will serve as the primary resource for students pursuing advancement in string instrumental performance and will be expected to facilitate student involvement in NCMEA and other honor events throughout the school year. Strong background in string and orchestral music pedagogy, Well-developed skills in conducting and rehearsal strategy, Experience with guitar and/or piano, Interest in outreach and commitment to the greater music education community in North Carolina and beyond, and Commitment to professional development.The ideal candidate will be eager to participate fully in the wide variety of academic and cultural endeavors our school values, offers, and promotes.
