Job Summary We are seeking a part-time instructor to teach lower division college courses in Music Studio or Appreciation/History. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in music or a bachelor's degree in music and a master's degree in humanities, or the equivalent. Responsibilities • Teach lower division college courses in Music Studio or Appreciation/History • Develop, implement, and assess student-learning outcomes for courses and programs • Engage in data inquiry and self-assessment to develop strategies for student success, persistence, and equity • Participate in professional development activities to fulfill mandatory requirements Preferred Qualifications • Education and/or experience in teaching in Music Studio or Appreciation/History at the community college level • Current knowledge of Music Studio or Appreciation/History • Experience working with diverse student populations • Demonstrated ability to address equity gaps within coursework and the classroom
