7 1/2 Hours per day Degree is the minimum The individual's credentials are in compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations governing individuals functioning in the capacity of this position. Duties and Responsibilities Teach the subjects required in the curriculum and planned course documents as assigned by the high school principal in accordance with the district's proposed schedule Prepare and submit written lesson plans as a basis for the day's activities Perform such general building duties as prescribed by the high school principal and his/her assistants Provide supervision in the halls during the passing of classes Follow the procedure prescribed in the handbook in regard to fire drills, report cards, eligibility reports, failures, etc. Attend all faculty and department meetings Participate in all in-service and training activities Comply with requests and recommendations of the department chairpersons Plan and initiate parent-teacher conferences when desirable Contribute to the development of the annual instructional budget Perform such additional responsibilities as may be determined by the Board of School Directors and the district administration
